If you are running Windows it is suggested you use version 1.2.  The Windows version will run faster as it is written in Native code for Windows users.  The Java version will run slower, needs more RAM, needs a faster processor to run, and the sound quality has been lowered.

* Java™ and all related Java™ technologies are trade marks of Sun Microsystems.
** Microsoft Windows Media Player must be installed to run the media files.  Microsoft® Windows™ and Windows Media Player™ are registered trade marks of Microsoft Corporation.

Notice to Macintosh users:  Older Macs will need the JRE 1.1.8 (MRJ 2.2.5) available for download from Apple.com.  With this older version you will have to setup the AppletViewer to trust applications--instructions to do this are on the CD.  You will also need more RAM than specified as Minimum.  If your Mac can handle it we suggest you purchase Mac OS X in order to have the Java Runtime Environment 1.3 with the command line utility.
